Jules Verne is the second most translated author of all time, only behind Agatha Christie, with 4223 translations, according to Index Translationum. Many of his works have been made into films.

"The Complete Works of H .G Wells"
Herbert George Wells (1866 – 1946) was an English author, best known for his outstanding work in the science fiction genre. He was a prolific writer in many fields, including contemporary novels, history, politics and social commentary.
Together with Jules Verne, Wells has been referred to as "The Father of Science Fiction".
Wells preferred to call his novels, "scientific romances", and he invented a number of themes now classic in science fiction with such works as "The Time Machine", "The Island of Doctor Moreau", "The Invisible Man", "The War of the Worlds", "When the Sleeper Wakes", and "The First Men in the Moon".
He also wrote other non-fiction novels that have received critical acclaim including "Kipps" and the satire on Edwardian advertising, "Tono-Bungay".
But it is for his science fiction novels that he will be best remembered and it is on this aspect of his work that this DVD ROM concentrates.
